Tours
A one-hour tour led by our Engagement team, showcasing the history of Darlington Hippodrome with a chance to go on stage, and look behind the scenes. Cost: £50 per class.
- Mondays 10.30am-11.30am
- Tuesdays 2-3pm
- Wednesdays 10.30am-11.30am
If you would like an additional workshop or more time in the building for a particular project, this can be discussed on a bespoke basis.
Workplace Experience Tours
We offer bespoke tours for groups, focused on careers in an arts venue. Depending on availability, this can include a chance to use a lighting desk, talk to members of staff in different job roles, and find out about job opportunities. Cost: £50 per class.
Work Experience
The application process for work experience at the Hippodrome will reopen in September 2024, and can be accessed on our work experience page. Please share this link with any of your students who would be interested in working in the cultural sector or in technical theatre.
Artsmark
If your school is planning to attain Artsmark status, Darlington Hippodrome (as an Artsmark Partner) can help you on your journey by offering cultural opportunities for students, CPD for staff, and introductions to other cultural organisations.
Upcoming Productions
We have a wide variety of shows coming up, any of which would be an excellent opportunity to bring a Drama or Theatre Studies group for a live performance opportunity.
To book any of these productions, please contact our Box Office on 01325 405405, or book online via each link.
